In the 2026-2027 Süper Lig season, kicking off on 14 August 2026, Amedspor will share the pitch with Turkey's strongest clubs. Here are the rivals awaiting the Diyarbakır side.

The league's giants

The strongest title contenders are Turkey's traditional powerhouses. The reigning champions, Galatasaray, finished 2025-2026 top with 77 points, claiming their fourth title in a row and 26th overall. Fenerbahçe finished second with 73 points, and Trabzonspor third with 69. Beşiktaş is another historic club competing in European competitions. Matches against these four sides will be the most-watched of Amedspor's season.

The newly promoted rivals

Alongside Amedspor, two other teams were promoted this year. Erzurumspor FK finished the First League as champions with 80 points. Çorum FK reached the Süper Lig for the first time in their history by beating Esenler Erokspor 2-0 in the play-off final. These three sides will go through a similar adaptation as the 'newcomers'; matches between them could be critical in the survival race.

The wider league and who went down

The Süper Lig consists of 18 teams. Last season, Antalyaspor, Kayserispor and Fatih Karagümrük were relegated; so Amedspor won't face them next season, but the sides above and the rest of the league. The full fixture list will be confirmed before the season through the official TFF draw.

The names coming to Diyarbakır

For Amedspor fans, here's the most exciting part: these great clubs will play in Diyarbakır, on Amed's home ground, for the first time. The visits of Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor will be among the most talked-about matches in the club's history.

Note: The league roster and fixtures will be finalized through official TFF announcements. This guide is based on the official data available before the season.
