Amedspor Close the Right-Back Gap: Ali Turap Bülbül Signs a Two-Year Deal

Amedspor announced the signing of right-back Ali Turap Bülbül on 17 August. The 21-year-old, previously with Galatasaray, has agreed a two-year contract with the green and red.

The club said the move formed part of its squad planning for the 2026-2027 season, adding in its statement: "As part of our squad planning for the 2026–2027 season, our club has signed a two-year contract with right-back Ali Turap Bülbül of Galatasaray. We welcome Ali Turap Bülbül to the Amedspor family and wish him a successful season in our green and red shirt."

The timing was striking: the announcement landed the day after the club's historic first Süper Lig match, a 3-0 win over Erzurumspor. Bülbül is the second arrival from Galatasaray this summer, following young winger Berk Kızıldemir in early July.

Right-back had been one of the positions Amedspor worked on throughout the summer. Reinforcing it after the season had already started shows a club intent on using the transfer window right through to the final day. It stays open until 4 September.
