Amedspor came from two goals down away at Kasımpaşa to draw 2-2 in week 4 of the Süper Lig. Gift Orban, brought on at half-time, scored on 59 and 83 minutes to pull his side back from the brink twice. Amedspor move to seven points.
The first half belonged to the hosts. Kasımpaşa went ahead through Güven Yalçın on 20 minutes and led 1-0 at the break. Early in the second half, on 52 minutes, Polish forward Adrian Benedyczak doubled the lead and the game looked gone.
Besnik Hasi sent on Gift Orban at half-time and the match turned. The Nigerian forward halved the deficit on 59 minutes and levelled it on 83. With three goals in two matches, Orban has now directly delivered four of Amedspor's points: the 90th-minute winner against Trabzonspor and this brace in Istanbul.
Hasi was pointed about his striker afterwards: «He answered the question ‘why am I on the bench?’ very well indeed.» He defended the performance — «We were the better side, we created more» — but was blunt about the defending: «At Süper Lig level you do not concede that goal. We were not good defensively.»
