Amedspor announced the signing of Kosovo international winger Ermal Krasniqi on 26 June — the club's first signing since securing promotion to the Süper Lig for the first time in its history. The 27-year-old arrives from Sparta Prague on a two-year contract with a one-year option.
Born on 7 September 1998 in Malisheva, Kosovo, Krasniqi is a 1.88 m winger. He won the Kosovan title with Ballkani in 2021-22 and featured in the UEFA Conference League, then moved to Romania with CFR Cluj and Rapid București before joining Sparta Prague. He spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Legia Warsaw in Poland.
The club presented Krasniqi as a direct reinforcement for the wings ahead of its first-ever top-flight campaign. He is a current Kosovo international and has played in European competition with three different clubs.
For a Kurdish club stepping onto Turkey's biggest stage for the first time, the opening signature carries meaning beyond the pitch: an international tested across four European leagues chose Amed. The move signals that Amedspor intends to compete in the Süper Lig — not merely to appear in it.
